Coach real people.
Skip the lesson plan.

At BFT Tysons the workout is planned before you walk in. Your job is the part you're best at: demonstrating, correcting, and getting people to do more than they thought they could.

Why coach here

Great coaching needs three things.

Most gyms ask coaches to be programmer, salesperson, and cleaning crew. We built BFT so coaches can just coach.

01 · PEOPLE

A team and a community

You'll know members by name, know their goals, and check in when someone misses a week. You'll coach alongside other coaches who care about the craft, not clock punchers.

02 · PROGRAMMING

Workouts you don't have to write

Science-based training blocks, planned in advance. You show up knowing exactly what class looks like and spend your energy on the people in front of you.

03 · TECHNOLOGY

Data that backs you up

MyZone heart-rate tracking and Evolt body-composition scans give you real numbers to coach with and real progress to celebrate with members.

The role

What a coach does here.

You're not counting reps from a podium. You're on the floor, hands-on, making every session better for every member.

  • Demo every movement so members see it before they do it.
  • Watch form and correct it during the set, not after.
  • Scale up or down so a first-timer and a former athlete both get a hard, safe workout.
  • Learn names and goals and follow up when someone disappears.
  • Run a 50-minute class on a set schedule with a plan you've already seen.

Who we're looking for

Athletes make great coaches.

You don't need a long coaching résumé. You need to care about people getting better.

You're a fit if…

  • You're a former athlete who knows what good movement feels like.
  • You're certified (CPT, group fitness, strength) or working on it.
  • You can coach at least 9 classes a week.
  • You like teaching and talking to people, not just training yourself.

You'll like it here if…

  • You'd rather coach than write programs.
  • You want real hours grouped into days, not scattered shifts.
  • You want to grow your skills in a studio that values good coaching.
  • You show up on time and prepared.
